Dr. Richard Garman, Jr., M.D.

Dr. Richard Garman has been our medical director since November 1998. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with an added qualification in Geriatric Medicine.

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Louisville in 1980, Dr. Garman completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Garman is a clinical instructor for the University of Tennessee and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Garman is an avid marathon runner and is also the Internist for the Nashville Predators.

James Wright

James Wright has been the Administrator at The HealthCare Center at West Meade Place since 1998. He offers over 17 years of experience as a health care administrator. He is a graduate of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee. He has a degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Finance and Management Information Systems.

In addition to being a member of the Tennessee Health Care Association, Mr. Wright currently serves as the Nashville District Representative for the Government Relations Committee and has served on various other committees with THCA over the past several years.
